ENGAGING PEOPLE WITH ART

As an artist and trainer, I believe there is a genuine link between art and transformation.  Fundamentally, my art has to transform humanity, otherwise it is like salt that has lost its flavour or a lamp that does not emit light. So, I engage with Schools, businesses and communities using my art as a catalyst for change. The aim is to

  • develop a stronger and deeper sense of self,

  • cultivate excellence,

  • stimulate productivity and growth.

This is achieved by using art and creativity as part of the process.

ART IN EDUCATION

Since 2005 many artist workshops have been organised in Schools all over the UK and internationally .  The content may be open creative sessions or focussed on addressing a variety of issues relevant to the school.  Including examples such as bullying, racism, the environment, recycling, low self esteem and academic excellence.

ART IN BUSINESS

The corporate world seems to be dominated by left brain thinking as such a programme that introduces right brain thinking and creativity into the workplace and business, Using collaborative problem solving techniques and Artist flare existing challenges within business are explored from a completely new and innovative perspectives resulting in exciting workable solutions.

ART IN THE COMMUNITY

Communities absorb and handle many challenging people and situations such that a creative and artistic approach to engaging the community becomes a welcome breath of fresh air.

Using participatory techniques and Art. communities are guided through the discipline of the making process to arrive at a desired solution or product that brings benefits to individuals and the community as a whole.
